DESCRIPTION OF THE PROCESS

• RECEPTION AND UNLOADING OF THE WASTE

  The pallets are received at the installations of the authorised managers and are unloaded by forklifts in the special reception and unloading area.

• CLASSIFICATION

  Depending on the state of the pallets on reception they are classified as follows:

  Good: The pallet needs no further process for reuse.
  Broken: Part of the pallet has been broken and needs repairing.
  Unrecoverable: The state of the pallet renders the replacement of the broken parts unprofitable. Depending on their condition, they are disassembled to make the most of the usable pieces or else are sent directly for crushing.

   
  
  

• REPAIR

  In this process, all the broken parts of the pallet are replaced by parts of similar or the same characteristics using specific tools and machines.
  

• CRUSHING

  Any non-usable pallet and wood are crushed for chips, and any iron elements separated. The chips will be used in the manufacture of chipboard, for energy or other uses.
